As a family, our focus is always on giving back — especially to nature. Our mission is to restore what has been taken by rebuilding healthy ecosystems. At the heart of this lies soil health, which we believe is the foundation of truly healthy produce.
We use natural inputs, like our Meatmaster herd, to support and stimulate microbial life in the soil. It’s a holistic approach aimed at creating sustainability.

Meet Theo – The Heart Behind Vogelsang Farm
Theo is a dedicated, hands-on farmer with a National Diploma in Agricultural Management and over 21 years of practical experience working the land at Vogelsang Farm. What makes his journey unique is that Vogelsang is a true first-generation farm—built from the ground up through hard work, perseverance, and a deep respect for the land.
From the very beginning, Theo has committed to doing things the right way. Sustainability is at the core of everything he does, from protecting and enriching the soil to conserving water and using natural methods to manage pests. For Theo, farming isn’t just about producing good yields—it’s about building something that will stand the test of time.
His vision goes beyond the present. Every decision on the farm is made with future generations in mind. Theo is driven by the desire to leave behind more than just fertile land—he’s focused on passing down knowledge, values, and a thriving, resilient farm for his family to continue.
After more than two decades, Vogelsang Farm stands as a testament to growth, sustainability, and a lasting legacy rooted in purpose and care.

Meet Denielle – Warm Host & Heart of Vogelsang Hospitality
With a four-year B.Ed. degree in Pre-Primary Education, Denielle brings a deep passion for child development and human connection to everything she does. Her natural warmth, care, and understanding of behaviour make her not just a great educator, but an exceptional host.
At Vogelsang, Denielle manages the accommodation side of the farm, ensuring that every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether she’s preparing a hearty meal in the beloved farmhouse kitchen or sharing stories with visitors around the table, Denielle’s warmth is felt in every detail.
She has a genuine love for people and takes great pride in making each stay personal and memorable. Her connection to the land and its community runs deep, and she treasures the spirit of Vogelsang—not just the farm itself, but the people who make it special.
